BNC connectors used on the ends of radio frequency (RF) coaxial cables provide low noise connections and easy disconnections. Simply turn the connector a quarter of a turn counterclockwise to loosen it, or clockwise to make the connection. The connectors installed on the ends of the cables can either be crimped on, or use a nut that threads inside the connector. The crimp type cannot be opened, and crimp type connector cannot be reused. But the threaded body with nut type can.
Place the thin open ended wrench into the groves on the body of the connector.
Place the other open ended wrench on the nut on the back of the connector body.
Hold the connector body wrench in one hand and the nut wrench in the other. Turn the nut counterclockwise until it is finger tight, and then remove it with your fingers.
Pull the BNC connector body off of the cable assembly.
