CCTV tester monitor is a multi-functional testing device that includes built in PTZ test and address scanning, RJ-45 / UTP cable test, and audio surveillance test. This portable test monitor also has a 12V DC 1 Amp power output which allows surveillance system installers to mount, focus and test security cameras before running any video or power cables (works only with DC powered cameras up to 1 Amp). The screen is a 2.8" LCD and provides a clear image for back focusing cameras. The LCD28P includes a carrying case, neck strap, RS-485 cables, rechargeable battery, charger, and RJ-45 remote.
Its functions, easy operation, and portability makes it simple for the CCTV technician to install and maintain CCTV system, improving work efficiency and get the labor cost down.
CCTV Tester Monitor Features:
A. Video test
The video signal and the quality of picture can be tested.
B. PTZ controlling
It has the basic operational test of PTZ products, function include pan/tilt, zoom in/out, preset setting and operation, speed adjustment etc; support multi-protocol and baud rate, communication via RS-232, RS422 simplex and RS485 port. RS485 protocol include: Pelco D,P, Samsung, Panasonic, Molynx. Additional Protocols may be added as per customer requests. Baud rate include: 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200.
C. UTP cable test
The wiring condition (disconnected, short of UTP cable) can be tested and show in the screen clearly.
D. Video signal generating
It can output Green, white Black and Blue screen to allow technician to inspect video monitor or DVR. The generating signal support PAL or NTSC (don’t support both meanwhile) format.
E. RS485 data test
It can test the RS485 data sent from controlling device, display the hexadecimal data content for engineer to analyze.
F. Output DC12V power to camera
G. Digital multimeter
Voltage, current, resistance and capacitance measuring, continuity testing, diode testing.
H. Audio input test
Test the pickup and other audio equipments on the front-end
I. Optical power meter
Used for optic fiber CCTV monitor system, CATV system, optic fiber communication networks deployment and test.
